Your bedroom should be a sanctuary for rest and relaxation. Here are expert tips for creating your perfect sleeping space:
Position Your Bed First
The bed is the focal point. Place it against a solid wall, ideally facing the door but not directly in line with it. Leave at least 24 inches on each side for nightstands and easy access.
Choose the Right Bed Size
A king bed needs at least a 12x12 foot room, queen beds fit well in 10x10 feet, and full beds work in spaces as small as 9x9 feet. Our planner shows exact dimensions so you can make the right choice.
Plan for Storage
Include dressers, nightstands, and wardrobes in your plan. Consider traffic flow when placing storage - dresser drawers need 36 inches of clearance to open fully.
Create Zones
