Yard mode and outdoor zones

Outdoor floors are different from indoor — no ceiling, different materials, zone-based layout. Here's how to use Yard Mode.

Step by step

Add an outdoor floor
Floor Picker (top-left) → Add Floor → Yard. The new floor is marked outdoor; the editor switches to Yard Mode.

Zone tools appear in the Build Panel
Lawn, Flower Bed, Patio, Deck, Water Feature tiles. Each zone has a material that renders in 3D.

Draw a zone
Click a zone tile, then click corners on the canvas to draw the zone polygon. Click your starting point to close. Zones can overlap — patio on top of lawn renders correctly.

Add outdoor furniture and fixtures
Furnish Panel → Outdoor tab. Pools, fire pits, grills, patio furniture, planters, sheds, trampolines.

Draw it, furnish it, walk through it in 3D — on web, iOS, and Android.
